Just having a walk

It takes a certain nonchalance to take your lizard for a walk. A casual demeanor. I got talking to this guy in Echo Park, LA. It was the most normal thing in the world to him; "yeah, I'm just walking my lizard".

Guys in North London rely on a Pit Bull for toughness and protection. This guy is so confident he rocks about LA with his Lizard. Refreshing.

A Gent loves a lizard walker.

The power of advertising

Oh you have one, thats great, 'I'll take it'. Anything in the sunshine? Not too near the trees. Can I get a late check-in?

The marketing guy down at the cemetary has been busy!

A Gent likes to plan ahead.

Tony Montana's ride

The Porsche 928. A true supercar of it's time. Made famous my Tom Cruise in Risky Business and the car of choice for Tony Montana. This car sounds so good you never want the stereo on. It's a car that requires you to wear driving gloves because it makes your palms sweaty, you HAVE to hold on tight; you need the grip on the wheel.

It's a car that excites, one that requires YOU to drive it, not like modern motors that drive you. It's raw. It has charachter.

A Gent likes a proper motor.

The old fashioned attache case

From a time when the expression ‘poke’ was used to discuss the secretary and a tumblr was what your drink came in.

Celebrate the good old days with an attache case; a subtle nod to the days when work involved asking Miss Jones to ‘take a letter’ and the only writing on the 'wall’ was retirement to the home counties and a bloody good game of golf.

A Gent uses an attache case.

Gary Oldman get's an Oscar

Putting the Tailor in Tinker; Gary Oldman has been seen (and heard) steeping quite the praise on young London designer Oscar Udeshi; a bit of an unsung hero of British Menswear. Seen above wearing a Double-Breasted Linen Tux by the man himself.

A Gentleman wears his Oscar with pride.

Budd.. The King of Shirts

Located in the Piccadilly Arcade since it's inception in 1910 A A Gill said of Budd, “They just make marvelous shirts, they are probably the best shirt makers in London.” Quite the accolade, quite a statement, quite possibly true. Well worth a visit.

The Lapo of Luxury

The Italian phrase sprezzatura means simply 'studied carelessness'. A casual nonchalance so few can achieve without looking like they are trying so hard to achieve it.

The phrase could have been coined specifically for Lapo Elkann, heir to Fiat and general badass. He oozes a certain style that all try to emulate, but so few can execute.
